Alumni link up in Columbus, Ohio

Here in the Alumni Office we love hearing about Wake Foresters getting together in their local areas. (We can’t get enough of it, really.) A few weeks ago, Nick Newcomb (’08) spearheaded a game watch event for alumni in Columbus, Ohio using the Wake Forest Alumni LinkedIn group. We saw a number of alumni express interest in getting together and were thrilled to help the group market the event to other Wake Foresters in the area.

On Thursday, October 25, alumni in Columbus, Ohio gathered to watch the Deacs take on the Clemson Tigers.

Linda Murcko, wife to a Wake Forest School of Medicine graduate and mother of Tommy Murcko (’12), said via email that, “Everyone that attended hopes for a larger turnout for future gatherings, we just need to get the word out.” We are always happy to help!
