The Wake Forest Art Department invites you to a curated afternoon experience featuring Collectors Jeff Childers (‘97) & Onay Gutierrez on Saturday, November 8. After enjoying the 2:00 p.m. Collectors Walk of the NCMA-Winston Salem Exhibition, please join us in Brendle at 3:30 p.m. for a reception and personal conversation with collectors Jeff Childers (‘97) and Onay Gutierrez moderated by Professors Jay Curley and Claire Crawford. The Gutierrez Collection is one of the most diverse, private collections of contemporary visual art in the Southeastern United States. Dr. Curley is a Professor of Art, Chair, Department of Art, published widely on topics of American and European postwar art and photography. Dr. Crawford is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Politics and International Affairs and the Program of African American Studies at Wake Forest University. ———— Parking is available in Lot Q by Scales Fine Arts Center.
