After a welcome and special greeting by “Coach Max” Floyd, families will rotate around to four different recreation stations which may include: Crux Climbing Wall, Mat Ball, Obstacle Course, and Pilo Polo. With breaks in between, the morning program will conclude at 11:45 a.m. The morning program is recommended for Deacons ages 6 and up, and registration is $5 per person.
The Fresh Food Company (otherwise known as “The Pit”) will be open for lunch – all-you-can-eat – $10 per person at the door. Wake Forest hosts Virginia Tech in basketball at the LJVM Coliseum – tipoff is at 2 p.m. Lower level seats will include a concession ticket for popcorn and a drink – $22 per person. (Tickets may be picked up at Will Call.) This is “Youth Day” at the Coliseum and there will be various pre-game and post-game activities for families.
The Office of Alumni Engagement’s mission is to find exciting new ways to connect Wake Forest alumni, friends and family. Once a Deac, always a Deac – and we’re here for you. Each day we leap out of bed humming the fight song, ready to create the moments that keep the spirit of Wake Forest present in your world.
