Register for the Summer 2024 Alumni Admissions Forum: Friday, June 21st
Join us on Friday, June 21, 2024 for our next in-person Alumni Admissions Forum. Co-hosted by Admissions and Alumni Engagement, the Forum is open to Wake Forest alumni and their high school age children of all grade levels. Learn about the college search process, essay writing, submitting a competitive college application, and financial aid and scholarships.
Registration closes June 14.
Schedule Overview
8:30 a.m. – Check-In and Morning Gathering
Refreshments and a light breakfast provided
9:15 a.m. – Opening Session
Opening plenary session includes a welcome from the Offices of Alumni Engagement and Undergraduate Admissions, fun trivia and icebreakers, insights into the college admissions process, advice for how students can make their Wake Forest experience their own, and time for Q&A.
11:00 a.m. – Breakout Sessions
Students and parents will separate and join back together for lunch. Divided into small groups, students will learn some helpful essay tips. Parents are invited to join a session about financial aid and scholarship processes at Wake Forest.
12:00 p.m. – Lunch
1:30 p.m. – Student-Led Walking Tour of Campus
2:30 p.m. – Wake Forest “Fair” and Closing Reception
Enjoy refreshments, have additional conversations with Admissions staff, and visit with campus partners to learn more about opportunities for students such as: Global Programs and Studies, Athletics, ZSR Library, Residence Life & Housing, Office of Personal & Career Development, WakerSpace, and Campus Dining.
