Dear Wake Forest Alumni Community,
This has been a challenging spring. Our campus and lives were disrupted with the anxiety of a global pandemic. And now our hearts are heavy as we mourn the death of Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and countless others who have lost their lives to senseless violence. We stand together with members of the Black community who continue to grapple with fear, anger, frustration, and the impact of racism and systemic injustice.
We struggle to find the right words at a time like this, so instead we’ll share President Hatch’s thoughts that he sent to the Wake Forest community this past weekend.
Thinking of you and our entire alumni family.
