We are pleased to announce the 2014-2015 Alumni Council Innovation Fund winners! The Innovation Fund is designed to support creative club programming that increases alumni participation.

The National Program Development Committee of the Alumni Council has chosen to fund proposals from the alumni clubs in Philadelphia, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Wilmington, NC.

The Philadelphia club was awarded funding for Innovation and Growth:  Philadelphia Stands Tall, a roundtable discussion with prominent alumni who represent innovative and high growth industries in the Philadelphia area.

The San Francisco Bay Area club was awarded funding for Wake Forest, the West Coast and Careers: A Discussion with Office of Personal and Career Development’s Andy Chan, an event that will offer an explanation by Andy Chan on how OPCD has changed recently and how it can continue to assist alumni and current students in their job search efforts.

The Wilmington, NC club was awarded funding for Retaining the Soul, a forum for interested students and their families to meet with WFU Admissions and financial aid personnel. It is designed to promote Wake Forest as a viable option for prospective students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds

There were a number of innovative submissions this year, and we look forward to supporting more club programming in the future. If you are interested in receiving feedback with regard to your club’s proposal, please contact Patricia Boone.
