Friday, August 24, Wake Forest welcomed 1,242 incoming students to campus. For most of these freshmen, they are the first Demon Deacon in the family. For others, well, they’ve been bleeding black and gold since birth. The Alumni Office is excited to meet all of the new students over the course of their four years, but we couldn’t wait to welcome alumni parents of incoming freshmen back to campus. (We know they may have been even more excited than their new student to get to Mother, So Dear.)

Towards the end of the hustle and bustle of move in day, at 4 p.m., the Alumni Office hosted a reception for alumni parents of incoming freshmen.

Wake Forest Magazine featured a piece on alumni passing the Wake Forest legacy onto their children. Read that story here»
