June 1 – 4, Wake Forest alumni joined together to spread the Pro Humanitate spirit in their local communities. 18 clubs for a total of 400 Wake Foresters participated in this first ever national weekend of service. Projects included food drives, meal preparations, garden restorations, and more.

The weekend kicked off on Friday, June 1 on Wake Forest’s campus. 53 alumni wrote letters to the troops and completed volunteer projects with Campus Gardens, Campus Kitchen, and SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now) of North Carolina. Club events continued around the country throughout the rest of the weekend.

The Wake Forest News Center also covered the event, so check out the article and see more about how alumni volunteered and shared their stories.
